The human-centered design process typically begins with research and discovery. This involves gathering information about the user’s needs, wants, and limitations through a variety of methods such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and observations. We utilize a combination of tried and true engineering methods and emergent technologies that give us a unique advantage in product engineering. While prototyping is a cornerstone of our work, new 3D printing methods allow us to quickly create life-like models that can be used to solve problems and make adjustments early on that are costly when done later.

The most important seemed to be that one learned through leadership and there were a number of partners who felt that they had been excluded from that experience.
